"Music legend Paul Simon is returning to the spotlight today as he offers fans his new single "Getting Ready for Christmas Day" for free download. The song, off of his forthcoming album So Beautiful Or So What, is about an uncle pondering the fate of his nephew serving his third tour of duty in Iraq, and samples a preach by pastor J.M. Gates in 1941.
Simon’s new album, his first since 2006′s Surprise, will hit stores in the Spring accompanied by a concert tour sometime in 2011."
